The wine has a deep purple colour which leads to aromas of blackberries, mixed herbs and a hint of liquorice onthe nose. The firm, yet elegant tanninssupport the dark fruit that follow through on the pallet, which again showselegance in weight in the lengthy, dry finish.
The wine shows red fruit, dark cherries with an underlying chalkiness evident from the soil these vines grow in. The fruit follows through on the elegant and well balanced palate. The wine's quality is complimented by the firm and concentrated tannin structure which will allow for further maturation in bottle.
Bright onion skin in colour, the nose opens up with fresh summer berries, candy floss and some herbaceous notes for an enticing depth of aromas. On the palate the vibrant acidity and textures tantalise the taste buds before the beautifully dry and balanced finish leaves you in wait for the next sip.
